History Department - Medieval Realms Day

On Friday 14th December "Dressed to Kill" visited the school. All year 7 students got the chance to spend time with the medieval weapons enthusiasts. Some were dressed up as various members of a medieval army and everyone braved the cold to watch a longbow and crossbow demonstration.

Everyone, including members of staff who came to watch the workshops thoroughly enjoyed themselves and learnt a lot.

Students have said that "it was the best history lesson ever" and "it was really fun".
